Jason delivers his maiden
speech in Parliament |
As your locally elected member in the Federal House of Representatives, it is Jason's job to represent his constituents. Part of his job is to make certain that the Government is aware of any local concerns and to seek funding for local projects. In parliament Jason is able to make speeches and ask Government Ministers or the opposition questions. Jason is always willing to make every effort where possible to become involved in the local community. He is more than happy to attend community events and functions, please do not hesitate to invite Jason by contacting our office. Jason is also happy to provide information about funding that is available and write letters of support for community groups and/or organisations seeking government funding.
If you are experiencing difficulties with Federal Government departments, which include; Australia Post, Australia Taxation Office, Centrelink, Child Support Agency, Telstra, the Department of Immigration and the Department of Health and Ageing
then Jason may be able to assist. Jason and his experienced staff are capable of dealing with a variety of issues from numerous areas. Depending on the complexity of the issue you may be asked to place your concerns in writing, so that Jason is then able to make accurate representation to the relevant minister or department without any misinterpretation of the situation. If yours is a problem that Jason is unable to deal with, or is a State or local government related matter, then he or his staff will refer you to the most appropriate person or department within those jurisdictions. For a full list of Federal Government departments and agencies with which Jason can liaise on your behalf visit the Commonwealth Government On-Line Directory.
Jason is also happy to arrange congratulatory messages for 90th and 100th birthdays along with 50th and 60th wedding anniversary messages. Please contact the office in advance to insure that the messages arrive by the appropriate date.
Please feel free to email any concerns, questions, suggestions or requests directly to Jason. Please include your address to ensure an adequate response to your concerns.
